Rauch and Blue River Services Announce Strategic Alliance
The Boards of Directors of Rauch, Inc. and Blue River Services, Inc., locally based non-profit organizations serving their communities for over 60 years each, have formed a strategic alliance in an effort to obtain operational efficiencies and strengthen both agencies. This alliance also ensures the continued provision of an array of quality support services to individuals with disabilities and communities in 30 counties in Southern Indiana. In this alliance, Rauch, Inc. and Blue River Services, Inc. continue to provide their current services in existing locations with their current staff members while maintaining their present-day identities.
RBR Alliance, Inc. has been created as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that serves as an umbrella organization for, and provides administrative, financial, development, human resources and IT support to both agencies. Dan Lowe, current CEO of Blue River Services, has been selected to serve as the CEO of RBR Alliance, Inc. with Bettye Dunham, CEO of Rauch retired as of August of 2019. The Board for RBR Alliance, Inc. consists of appointments from existing Rauch and Blue River Board members at the time of the formation of the Alliance.


RBR Alliance Began Formal Operations on July 1, 2019.
Deanne Woods is the Chief Operations Officer for Rauch’s core services and Tammy Seitz is the Chief Operations Officer for Blue River Services core services – both positions report to the RBR Alliance CEO. Rauch, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1953 that serves over 1400 children and adults with disabilities. In Indiana Rauch serves the counties of Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, Washington, Jefferson and Jackson. Rauch’s mission is to support people with disabilities and their families while encouraging a community that acknowledges the value and contribution of all people. Blue River Services, Inc. (BRS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1959 by six families who believed that all people are capable of learning when given the opportunity and appropriate support services. With this guiding philosophy for over 60 years, BRS has consistently expanded its services to meet the needs of community members and help people with disabilities and the general public overcome barriers to independence. BRS strives to reach its motto of “People Serving People” by providing exceptional services for all ages, from infants to seniors, in all areas of life and levels of ability. In fiscal year 2018, the agency served 25,677 individuals through more than 20 programs in 30 Indiana counties.”
